Carlson School of Management – University of Minnesota

The Columns Resource Group is proud to be a partner in the growth and expansion of one of its community’s biggest campuses and one of the nation’s top business schools. Their $125,000 sponsorship of the Carlson School of Management - University of Minnesota helps to deepen the impact they are already making with many alumni participating in volunteer mentoring and educational opportunities.

The Columns Resource Group Undergraduate Scholarship has also been created, which will be awarded every year to an incoming freshman. The promising recipient of this scholarship must have demonstrated leadership and entrepreneurial spirit, as well as a need for financial assistance to pursue their academic ambitions. The Columns Resource Group is excited to have the opportunity to help deserving young people with the chance at a world class business education.  Conner Kolodge of Duluth, MN is the 2009-2010 scholarship recipient.   

In a recent issue of the Carlson School Magazine, Managing Director Jeff Manderfeld's work on behalf of the school is featured.  “The Carlson School helped me get to where I am today,” Manderfeld says. “I have a lot of pride in the school, and I want to make sure it continues to be highly regarded.”   In addition to the scholarship, Jeff has assisted with fund raising and mentors recent grads.
